Bethany's Life
Bethany was born on February,8 1990.
She started learning to surf as a toddler and by 8 she entered her first competition.
She surfed with all her friends including Alana Blanchard.
But on October 31 2003 when she was 13 years old she got attacked by a shark.
On that Halloween morning she lost 50 percent of her blood and if the shark had bitten 2 more inches into her left arm she would have died.
